Strange baghira starting issue

Hi, have a bit of a problem with 2008 baghira, I've had a few starting issues of late which seemed to be fuel related anyway cut a long story short, cleaned and rebuilt carbs and put new inlet O rings in as one had perished, for the bike to start and stay running I have to pull ignition coil and tension the ht lead and bike starts if I let the coil go the bike dies and won't start unless I do the same again, have cut the lead ends and refitted but still a no go unless I pull on the coil, anyone ever had this problem before,
