mail order parts dealers?

Postby dougkearney » Mon Feb 13, 2006 3:21 pm

Hi,
What is up with MZ USA? Are they out of business or what? My local dealer is telling me that he has to go directly to MZ Europe for parts, it seems weird.
Anyone know an MZ dealer who does mail order parts? I'm in CA.

BSA Regal do mail order from the UK. Fast service as well. I think you will find several members of this forum from the USA have used them. A contact for them is on this site elsewhere.

Part's have not been a problem for us. In fact, I am placing another order tomorrow. As I stated in an earlier post, right now I am experiencing better service from MZ than many of the other OEM's that I deal with.

maybe a good idea has come to pass
direct ship to dealers from germany no parts stock in usa warehouse
that are not selling and dealer gets what he needs sooner
=happy customers
i love the bikes my beef was 4 months to get any thing i needed
you guys need stuff ask BigHairy
and maybe some day he could get us bikes in limited numbers
i would go for a rt250 or 350 :-D

BSA Regal Rocks!

I live in Perth in Western Australia, two Skorpions in the State, maybe three!

I get parts from Mr partZ, Phil Albutt in the UK ( phil@bsa-regal.co.uk ) to the most remote city in the world, quicker than I can get any from Sydney in my own country.

Let's hear it for Phil.....

Try Bike Worx (978)-897-0044 Mass. or http://www.bikeworx.com, best to call though. They have lots of parts for the MZ, and are very knowledgeable. I just ordered carb jets from them....he also has a carb kit $29.99 (cheap) He also said that they have replacement parts, plastic, brake pads etc. I talked to Galen...nice guy!

dealer still works

Postby dougkearney » Tue Feb 28, 2006 4:42 pm

I went back to my local dealer and talked to a different guy there. He said the same thing as Jeff said, that getting parts directly from Germany is better and faster than it was getting them from MZ North America. Hooray! I also emailed Phil at BSA regal, who got back to me immediately with a very reasonable price, including shipping. I'm glad the situation isn't nearly as dire as I thought it might be with the closing of MZ N.A. Thanks for the responses to my original plea.

might be a better way for dealers to get bikes they dont sell enough
here to support the local import company
that can suck big dollars and make bikes cost way toooooo much
