skorpion brake pedal pushrod

My Skorpion brake pedal pushrod is too short, at about 40mm end to end, measured while removed from the yoke. I'm aiming to adjust to about a 1mm gap to the master cylinder piston, my gap is about 5mm with inadequate pushrod thread engagement.

I'm planning to make one tomorrow morning, from a 6mm X 50mm socket head capscrew. It just may be that mine has been fabricated from a 40mm capscrew.

If it is convenient for anyone to measure theirs, I would appreciate it.
