HELP!!
my fuel tank only appears to take approx 10 litres of fuel yet the owners manual states 18 litres!?
It's a 1998 Scorp traveller
it also seems to splutter to a stop after 150 miles but when I look into the tank there appears to be at least a couple of inches available.
is there something wrong with my tank?

I can get 180 miles out of my tank before turn on to reserve, then I can only put in 4 US gals. when the owners manual says it should be 4.76 gal.
I have never drained the tank completely and refilled but my guess is the owners manual is inaccurate on the capacity. Did you try to turn your petcock onto reserve?

yep, when it stopped I switched to reserve and was able to continue, must be an error in the manual at that rate
