Chain Gang

Postby jim grace » Tue May 31, 2005 4:42 am

:-D Hi everyone out there, ??? According to the handbook, to adjust the drive chain,i find confusing. They stipulate that A= find the tight spot, then support the bike on a stand under the frame, and adjust between 20 and 40mm, I use a paddock stand and after adjustment with the bike on the floor and me sat on it the chain seems tight. Conversily the Dealer says that they adjust them by sitting someone on the bike and then adjust ing the chain accordingly, Any body with advice will be muchappreciated.

Ridden by the intelligent ,ignored by the masse's :D Cheers jim
