MZ/MuZ Riders

Hi all,
almost 1000 on the clock since I purchased my Tour and am a happy man.

Now for some TLC. I would like to make a pair of crash bars.

A. Has anyone a set who can post me a picture?
B. What do you suggest to use as pipe material i.e. diameter thickness non seamed etc

I would like to protect the lower engine water pump and its sides.

Interesting question. I've never seen any for the Skorpion ever so it's guesswork. The thing is I make stuff all the time although don't own a pipe bender so I would buy a set for something similar that's as cheap as chips to buy and modify. You could maybe look at the Yamaha xtz range for ideas or some simple commuter bikes like Kawasaki er5, Suzuki gs500 and the likes. Modifying would be easy and I possibly would favour lager crash bars to buy as there's more off cuts to play with.

actually I've see pictures in the UK Motorcycle News from 1995/6.

I'll see if I can dig out the pictures.
