Skorpion Oil tank

Postby silver » Mon Dec 05, 2016 5:09 am

Hi, I am rebuilding Skorpion sport from boxes of bits. I cant work out configuration of oil tank and pipes.
Could anyone help me with some photos of oil tank on bike with seat cowl removed and maybe schematic of pipe routing and connections.
Thanks

Thanks. Someone posted on the facebook site, a page from the parts list which gives most of the info I need. Just a bit concerned I get the pipes connected correctly to the engine.

Hello,
I'm just over the Warwickshire border, near Banbury/Warwick if you want to come and have at look at the oil lines on my Traveller. Drop me a pm if you would like to come over.

Thanks Dicki, I think I have it sussed now. I sorted the three to the oil tank and finally realized the oil tank fits between two chassis plates at the back of the sub frame. The extra tube behind cylinder I think goes to the air cleaner as a crankcase breather. Then I decided to fit the air box, the only way to get that in was to remove the sub frame again. I have a feeling this could take a while. Dave

when i got my traveller i had to glue the air box back together and split the frame to install it
someone had cut it in half and put the part back in that holds the battery

lucky ME i got the missing half in the parts box that came with the bike

but what a pain in the "A$$"

when it rains here it pours and you have to stop because it does not run on water
