Gear shift linkage rod

Listers: Anyone out there replace their gear shift linkage rod, for the Sport Skorpian, with a beefier and longer one. I need to reposition my shift lever with the peg set up I am running.

They made a thicker SS version for the Replica that I have on my Sport. It might still be available. Fact is you can likely find a universal one that's better quality them what the Sport/Tour/Traveler had - its a 6MM thread.

droy, thanks for the lead. I have contacted Grahams; and I placed an order for a 238mm and 266mm rods. The cost isn't prohibitive to me. I was thinking of alternative bike rods, yet where does one start. Too many variables out there. Any ways thanks for the advice.
