sx 125 tyres

Postby Joe36a » Fri Nov 11, 2011 5:05 am

Hi can anybody recommend a front tyre for the sx i currently have a brigstone trailwing 302 but its very bald and i need to replace it. I have looked at pirelli mt 60's and the mt21's the bridgestone is an okay tyre but was wondering what other people are running. I do about 80% on road and about 20% off road. I have an avon distanzia on the back and i defo dont want one on the front because its poor off road and slippery in the wet. cheers Joe

As mentioned elsewhere, I am very happy with the Shinko 705 tires on my 125SX, which have had great grip dry or wet, and lasted well. They're also inexpensive. Shinko took over the motorcycle tire part of Yokohama tires. Having bought and used half a dozen sets if Shinko tires on different bikes has worked well for me. I've bought them all from Motorcycle Superstore here in the U.S. with free shipping.
