ITS A LITTLE RELAY ITS THE BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH THIS BIKE
READ THIS LINK
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2085&hilit=relayrelay

ITS POSTED ABOVE IN ONE OF MY POSTS
AND IT ALSO CAUSES PROBLEMS WITH THE 660CC BIKES
LIKE MY TRAVELLER
the red/black and red/white wire on this relay control the whole bike if its sick the bike is sick
the one on my bike was too small and the contacts went bad inside
power comes to it from the key switch
and the kill button ,the side stand switch and the neutral lamp switch in the transmission all work
through it to kill the motor if you put bike in gear with the side stand down
or use the kill button
check kill button it may be part off part on right at its switching point and cause this also
cycle it off and on several times then push all the way left
DAVE

this was in a post in this section
a few days ago find and reread the whole post

test wire can be 2 male spade lugs on each end of a 6inch piece of wire
this little item should be made and in tool kit at all times
and used to get you running when it all fowls up
but not used all the time
because it bypasses the kill button and side stand switch
and may make the neutral light work funny

the jump wire is to test if relay is the problem..
or to get you home in case relay or the side stand switch go out

my rt125 and my 660 traveller both have had this relay go bad.

have had pm's from several 125cc bike owners across all 4stroke models that have had a problem
with this relay
it carries all the electric that the bike uses. when running
except the high current to the starter motor when it runs

no i have never had any problems with the fuse holder or very many complaints about the fuse holder
but he mite try some new fuses as the quality of some fuses has been a problem in the last couple years

its the chronic relay 19 problem 660 bike have it also on them its relay 30
and all the electric except the starter big wire goes through it
