Almost done!

Postby bharp1653 » Wed Jul 15, 2015 7:58 am

This 125 sx I bought 2 years ago by trading a pistol and a few hundred dollars. It was the original green and had been sitting outside for a while. After cleaning it up and charging the battery I took it for a ride and fell in love. As I could not find new plastic, I primed and painted it a nice hunter green after scraping all of the crumbling plastic off, no small job. The bike stayed like that for about a year until I left for thailand. Sold the bike and took off for 8 months, and got home to see it a horrible shade of yellow. After 2 weeks home and seeing the bike running around looking like big bird, I had enough. I bought the bike back and have been working on it for about 3 weeks now. Its almkst done and ill post more pictures once its up and running. Thanks to everyone here for all your help. Brian

most small bikes get treated like a dirty shop rag!

these run too nice to do that to them
