I'm in Southern California and I just got a low mile great condition '04 RT125 for a very good price. Anybody have one of these registered in California? Supposedly this one came from a motorcycle school and has never been registered, so it doesn't have a title or plates. I put turn signals back on it, and evrything works to be street legal, but the emissions sticker says "This vehicle conforms to US EPA regulations applicable to 2004 model year new motorcycle." Any info appreciated.

Well, I have a 2003 that came from a motorcycle school in California. Didn't get a title for it or even an MSO (Manufacturers Statement of origin). So you have to find out the procedure for obtaining a title, when you don't have one, in CA. I'm sure the bike conforms to 2004 California emissions standards. They are pretty clean burning engines. The title bureau should be able to give you information. This is a very low volume manufacturer. Good luck. I don't have titles for four of my ten 125 MZ's --Steve
