Re connect clutch cable

Postby Joshua_m » Sat Oct 15, 2016 7:32 am

Hello my fellow Mzriders, im hoping someone here wil be able to help me out, i had to disconnect my clutch cable to drop the engine now i got my engine back from the shop and i put it back in and re connected everything but reconnecting the clutch cable is giving me alot of problems. When i took the cable off i was able to slide it off of the little arm on the engine but no matter what i try im unable to reconnect it to the clutch arm mechanism. Thank you for your time and good luck.

pictures click on them to see bigger click 2 times makes them very big
.. pictures came out in reverse order to what i wanted 4321 4 is at top
1 tighten up adjuster nut at handlebar
so cable has full slack
pic 2 install cable at transmission may have to twist lever there toward front of bike
if it will not go on check cable routing

3 shows inside adjustment be careful about the spring and ball bearing in the spot marked on picture
in red
it is the OIL PRESSURE REG

4 use a side cover gasket to make a storage board for side cover screws there different lengths
