Postby jam23a30 » Tue May 05, 2020 4:25 am

Morning, can anyone confirm how I can remover the glass to access the face of my the Speedo and Tacho on my super 5. I can't tell if the chrome bezel is pressed on or threaded, I don't want to do any damage if anyone can advise the best way to remove it would be much appreciated

Many thanks in anticipation someone has already been there and done that!

Andy,
The chrome bezel is pressed on around a small lip. I don't know how to remove it without damage. It might be possible to prise it up carefully from underneath.

Yes- In most clocks on older bikes the chrome is just bend around a lip on the main unit.. The only real way is to carefully and patiently bend and prise it up with a screwdriver and just keep going around in circles doing that..
