Following a biased and flawed moderator choice (someone posting aggressive personal attacks is rewarded, while my technical posts are removed - behind my back & without any justification!), I have withdrawn from this forum.

The BK was a very complicated and difficult to adjust bike.
Synchronizing the 2 carbs was a very difficult and long lasting work...
And 1 crankcase for 2 cylinders caused problems filling the 2 cylinders equally with gas.
For example the 2 carbs had different main jets. One 90 and the other 95.

It was produced at the same time than the RT 125.
So in the end, the RT was cheaper and easier to repair.
And this was an advantage at that time.

I own one BK with a stoye1 sidecar. It´s a DIVA, but if you get it running, it is a beautful bike....:-)

i had an unknown brand hit miss engine that was that way
it was a royal pain to get to run and when it did start it always seamed to run backwards
the common crankcase was its problem and ran best timed a bit after tdc
sold it to a guy that charged a big 12volt battery to power his fishing cabin
about 60 miles from where i live
