Ts250/1 crank oil guide plates

Postby Zed1 » Tue Jan 19, 2021 12:50 pm

Hi I've been having a go at replacing the crank seals on my 250/1 , stripped down to seals ok . Removed circlips and old seals and unexpectedly came across the oil guides ,the one on the timing side is rusty and there was a load of gunk between the two seals , the question is are they easy to replace ? Cheers Paul

Hi thanks for the help , can't seem to load pictures . It has been sitting for a long time I got it as a spares or repairs project that hadn't been used for years. Looking at the link those oil guide plates are what I'm looking at , is removing them just taking out the spring clips and fiddling them out?
