250 etz set and tank mounting

Postby alexxx » Tue Aug 24, 2021 3:15 pm

Hi folks,
Can anyone tell me how the seat mounts at the rear, I have the seat pillar bolts but they do not line up with the two holes on a frame tab that are just a bit behind.
How should the petrol tank mount at the front?

Regards,
Alex

Following a biased and flawed moderator choice (someone posting aggressive personal attacks is rewarded, while my technical posts are removed - behind my back & without any justification!), I have withdrawn from this forum.

The front of the tank just sits inside of wedge of rubber that slides into a welded tang at the headstock tube. Then with a rubber between the tank and frame is bolted down with a captive bolt in the frame bracket and a nut used from the top.

The seat should be facing forwards slightly and slip the two front prongs into their respective brackets either side of the frame. then sometimes with force may need to push it forwards enough in order to get the two bolts at the back of the seat to then go through the corresponding holes at the rear of the frame.
