Following a biased and flawed moderator choice (someone posting aggressive personal attacks is rewarded, while my technical posts are removed - behind my back & without any justification!), I have withdrawn from this forum.

That certainly is an odd exhaust - looks like it has the end section of a standard exhaust grafted onto the end.

Wonder what effect it had on the performance?

Anyway, on my ETZ251 I tried performance with a long expansion pipe, aimed at lower revs, and I did not get any significant benefit. Race pipes are shorter & tuned to higher revs.

Interesting. Perhaps it was too long?

I also tried an expansion chamber, on my TS. I kept the same difuser angle, but made a slightly larger belly diameter. The main difference between this and the original, is the use of a baffle cone, instead of a flat plate.
I kept the tuned lenght of the original (just a tiny bit longer).
Like yours, no major difference in lower revs. However, the high revs is where it shines. It really livens the bike up, in the powerband from 4500 to about 6000 rpm.

Also, an added benefit is the sound. Sounds like a vintage dirtbike.
The first test pipe in picture below.
