Have you checked the voltage of your bulbs. As I fitted 12v 5a ones in my TS 125. They flashed at the same rate at the original 6v: 21w ones.
But were weaker (as the flasher relay was overworked.) Did try 12v 21w ones. And they never even flashed .A cheap repair if so Andy .

Glad you have your bike together. Getting rear racks can be difficult, but you just have to have time and patience. Try the mz riders club, now that you're a member (as am I for what it's worth..), though sometimes they come up on e-Bay. Then a 40l rickman box will typically cost £30-40.

I have a box on 3 of my 5 bikes. I guess I probably would on my ES250 too if the original rack wasn't so....puny 8)
