TS250 colour match

Postby Kruh » Sat Feb 05, 2022 11:34 am

Does anyone know an equivalent colour code for the original TS250 yellow?

Got nothing to compare to, and its impossible to tell by looking at photos. But so far, RAL 1018 or 1021 seem fairly close to me.
But of course, any colour chart will do, if someone already matched it.

Does this help?

Obviously I don't know how accurate the chart is but it seems like you're in the right ball park (website recommends 'about 1003 RAL' for the yellow)????

Is your bike actually yellow or are you colour changing to that shade?

RAL1003 it is then. Don’t buy that colour on line but go to an automotive paint supplier in person. The RAL range is a German standard which MZ use therefore the 1003 probably will be bang on. I used to have a yellow Skorpion and it looked that shade too but I never needed to paint any part of it. Use a white primer as the yellow pigments don’t cover that well although I’m not trying to teach you how to suck eggs as they say.
