Basic ES150 information

Postby Brianrobins » Sun Nov 05, 2023 12:46 pm

Hi.
Just bought myself a 1975 ES150 as a winter project, its in reasonable condition and does run, however the wiring is a mess and when I removed the headlight I found there were four small bulbs hanging loose in the housing. I have an old Hynes manual, but no owners handbook. Is it possible to buy a copy of the owners handbook to get the basic information about the bike? What are the four small bulbs for? I assume two light up the speedo but what do the other two do?

Two light up the speedo, these share the same coloured wires. The other two are the neutral lamp, and the charge/indicator idiot lamp.
