ETS Refuses To Start

ETS 250 - Will not start
Hello, I have a stubborn ETS 250, which refuses to start.
What I have done
- Re timed and found to be spot on
- Checked the compression – 120psi after 5 kicks
- Cleaned Carb – adjusting float level
- Cleaned all electrical connections.
- New battery
- - 50mil of oil in chamber to improve compression.
As well as the above I’ve also sprayed Start You Bastard into the airbox and absolutely nothing.

Any ideas anyone please.

I know how frustrating this can be. My, new to me, MZ suffered a similar problem. In my case the solution was to swap out the HT lead, the spark plug cap and the plug. The old ones were producing a spark when earthed outside the cylinder but apparently not when under compression. Not certain if my problem was just one of the components going bad or the sum of small degradations in each. I would start with a brand new spark plug and go from there. Best of luck.
