crank case problems ts250/1

Postby viking » Sat Mar 24, 2012 12:08 pm

im having a little trouble taking the crankcase off to renew the gaskets, have dove everything according to the manual (http://www.dgw.org.uk/downloads/ts250-manual-image.pdf) and still nothing. i am currently rebuilding a 79 ts250/1 with heaps of custom extras on it, some of them i have made myself as im a welder/smf and its just the final things to get finished off now. heres the link for my bike pics . i have totally upgraded, rewired and upgunned everything and threw it into the 21st century, for todays traffic and road conditions https://www.facebook.com/#!/media/set/? ... 729&type=3

im renewing everything enginewise on it beause there was a white sludgy gunk that might have been gearbox oil many years ago, and since i have put new oil in there has been a leak. i took the old horrible screws out and they are being renewed with nice new shiney stainless allen bolts, i removed clutch and tacho cover, and split the crankcase from the engine block, it only moves about 3m and it goes no further. this is the first brick wall i have came to on this bike and need to get it on the road soon for summer. i dont want to use a hammer to free it incase i damage anything internal, so anything you could help me with would be an advantage
