i seem to remember someone offering to make a few "how to" guides to doing specific jobs on Mz's, does anyone know who...?

You have seen the MZ factory ETZ 250-251, how to video's, At least 10 in the series.

What I really need is a "how to guide" as to how to strip and rebuild a pair of Etz251/301rear shocks
