backfire

Postby gary martin » Sat Apr 16, 2016 4:49 pm

the last time my 251 saxon tour ran, there was a large backfire, followed by poor running for a short time. another large backfire followed then it did not run again. i think there is no spark. could anyone point me in a likely direction to find the fault. many thanks.
Gary.

backfire can be a sign of ignition problems
Like some one turns the key off and on causes backfire

a loose wire can cause it
