MZ ETZ251 brake pad pins

Postby alexxx » Wed Jun 21, 2017 8:46 am

Hi Folks,

How tight a fit should the brake pad pins be in the caliper?
the ones I have go in a bit easy and really only the plastic guard can prevent them coming out, is that the way?

Thanks

Quite tight, they are also held in place by the adjusting spring between the pads

Is y<our caliper original or chinese reproduction ?
The chinese ones come out very easily.
But that is not the only reason why I don´t sell these calipers....

Thanks for the info,

Yes it is an original Grimeca caliper but I re used the old pins.
Grimeca should be a decent quality item?
