is this rear sprocket ok or not

Postby alexxx » Mon Aug 21, 2017 3:33 pm

Hi folks,

Not sure if I need to replace the rear sprocket on my MZ ETZ251, not sure if a new one has a squarer edge to the teeth.
What do you think?
It is filthy inside but it needs a new/better case anyway

cheers

Sprocket looks OK to me - the teeth are not hooked or worn as far as I can see from the picture.

Thanks, I was not sure if the rubber drive was in ok shape, was going to buy another but sometimes the pattern makes are worse than a worn original. Turning it over is a good idea.
Yes, it is minging, last owner must have just kept chucking in grease without cleaning, I also need to replace the broken chaincase and gaitors

Thanks
