ETZ 250 Neutral Light

This probably seems like a dumb question.

OK I give up - in which instrument is the Neutral light ?

According to the manual there are 2 lights in the Rev Counter - Idle warning and dynamo, and 2 in the speedo - High beam and indicator.

Manual makes no reference to the neutral light so where the heck is it supposed to be ?

The neutral switch is there, and there is a wire going to it.........

I guess the 'Idle Warning' is the translation for neutral light..

It is indeed the typically Yellow light in the Rev counter.. Far left, just incase you have two yellows in that cluster (I do on my early ETZ250 clocks.. All idiot lights are yellow, including the indicator bar the high beam which is blue. i'd attribute that to fading, but the orange is so equal so perhaps not).

Bizarre - was out and about on it this afternoon on a pretty damp dismal day.

Hey presto the light started working, odd because it had never worked before.

The neutral indicator switch is located in a very greasy place. Perhaps there was oil on the wire when you screwed it down into the switch? :P

On the other hand. My pass light didn't work for a long time, infact it just blew the horn. Then one day.. it worked as it should
