ETZ 250 Centre Stand

Decided that it is time to give the centrestand on my ETZ 250 a bit of TLC.

It works fine but it does not move freely on the pivot - easy I thought, just pop the pivot pin out, clean, grease and re fit.

Having taken the circlip off the right hand side of the pin how on earth does the pin come out?

Tried bashing it with a rubber mallet, it moves a few milimeters but no further.

Is there some kind of hidden element to removing the pivot pin that I have not found yet?

I have the blue manual but the stand is not mentioned, according to Haynes you just push the pivot pin out after removing the circlip - however pin appears not to want to move.

Advice / guidance please.

The centre stand comes off the pin, rather than the pin coming out.

On one side (the left I think) there is a slight slot cut out of the tube holding it onto the shaft.

You take the circlips off, and springs.

Pull the centre stand to the Right hand side of the bike (it may be the left) and take the first tube half off and angle it downwards. This cut allows you to do this, then you simply push it to the opposit direction.

:-D
