I dont know about tuning work, but any bike should be capable of long journey's. Its more likely that the rider will get tired and need a rest first as it may take some time.

hello

here is a link in england that can get you started

with books and if they dont have hop up stuff for your scooter
they may know who does

i have not ordered any thing from them
some one on the this web sight may have

as for long trips run it at about 70% of full speed 95km x.70=66.5k
and if it has a automatic oil pump put a a little extra oil in the gas
just to keep the piston happy and take a bunch of spair spark plugs with
you after you have ran it a while you will find a sweet spot in it motor
a place where the motor runs nice with out complaining and has low vibs
some where between 60 and 80 k on the speedo

and this i had on file i think from the mz web site in the usa

MOSKITO CARB FIX
So you have a 49cc Moskito that doesn’t run as well as you think it should, and maybe it’s hard to start as well, not to worry here’s the simple fix..
Remove the Mikuni carburetor.

Remove the float bowl.

Remove the pilot jet and either install a number 20 pilot (17.5 is stock) or drill the stock pilot jet with a number 76 jet drill.

Turn the air screw out 2 full turns from fully seated.

Remove the black electric choke assembly. This is the black tower on the side of the carb with the wires coming out of it.

Look at the brass fitting on the carb under where the choke assembly was. This brass fitting wasn’t fully seated at the factory. This fitting needs to be carefully tapped down until it seats. (about .040) I use a short hollow aluminum tube and a small hammer.

Re-assemble.

ENJOY

thanx!

Long distance around 100km wont be much prob with the Moskito, since it is the 4 stroke version that we have here in Malaysia...Full tank can really bring you around 150kmh-200kmh depends on throttle acceleration....

Speed up??Try a heavier roller than stock...and get a oversize pulley from NKS Sentul...
