Right so I just stuck some coolant in the tank and I'll keep an eye on it. It's a little under half full which should be ok as there was none in it when I started.
Found some perished lines from radiator to tank which I sorted which meant the PO was running out basically without an expansion tank.
All connections in the harness cleaned, new air filter-the old one was saturated in oil as was the air box and the little bubble thing under the box. New plug-NGK DPR7EA gapped to .7mm, valves checked-inlet were good but exhaust were a tight .15mm so opened em up a bit. I'd say about .17. They sound quite noisy at that actually. Two new tyres, new ignition barrel and aftermarket can fitted.
The back brake lever is way too high and other than a small amount of adjustment possible on the little screw that seems to be it. Too much just pushes the brake on. Maybe I'll resort to heating the lever and battering it with a hammer to lower it some.
Oh yeah and I had a play with the carb sync screw. I only screwed it in about 1 1/2 turns just to see what difference it makes.
After a quick 8-10 mile run I'm pretty happy with how it's running. Nice Nice. I'll keep an eye on the plug to see how it's doing.
