Hello - my names John, I've had MZ's for many years and right now own an ETZ 125 and ETZ 251 - they are very different bikes but both great fun to ride.

Welcome to the forum.
I've never had a Kawa 250 triple, I had a RD250 back in the day, but always liked the look of the Kawasaki.

My ETZ 125 is very revvy and is a very different bike to my 251 which has more power but is not as much fun - my Jawa is more like a 4 stroke and has lots of torque- it only has 4 gears but will pull really well even if the revs drop.
I was told a Kawasaki 250 triple was a very revvy bike nothing like a Jawa BUT after buying a Kawasaki 250 triple I've found that in fact it's not all about revs in fact it's a very pleasant bike to ride slowly and doesn't require the engine to be on full throttle to make progress and will do around 60 mpg!
I've also owned a Suzuki GT380 and a Yamaha YM1 and a few Bantams and the Kawasaki is one of the nicest two strokes I've ever had.
