Yeah, video rider is Takumi Narita.
I remember Tarrés, Ahvala, Bilbao, Miglio, Narita...saw all in the Madrid trial indoor in the first 90s.

I think the video bike is a clear trial inspiration bike, but for "street" or "urban" ride.
The answer is blowin' in the wind...no wind no answer :(

Its an older 250cc 2-stroke Yamaha, the pic is taken (not by me) on a lake in my hometown in Sweden some years ago when there was an Ice Roadracing track open. For more info and pictures/videos see http://www.iceroadracing.net/

If you google "Ice roadraing" you'll find that there is a lot of similar activity both in Europe and US/Canada (MX and road bikes)

Roll on the Summer. This is my destination on the bike this year. The Trollstigen - The Troll Road - in Norway.

I did it in the car a couple of years ago and can't wait to try it on a bike.

Ooohh!! NICE.
Nothing like a beautiful set of switch-backs.
I hope it all works out for the trip.
Lots of pics, please.

Hi,
Please remind us. What bike are you riding on your trip?
How are you getting there? What ferry/port are you using?
Thanks.

A beautiful museum quality restoration

Any Italian motorcycle collector worth his weight in salt will know that a Motobi racer is one of the most desirable and sought after machines
